Land of Confusion / Land of Milk & Honey

Thinking back over the years, it’s hard to come up with one memory where I’ve felt truly at ease with the situation and circumstance.  Unless of course I had my nose stuck in a book.  I never was much of a people’s person growing up and   being that now requires extra concerted effort.

It’s hard trying to figure out where you fit in and even more magical when you find the perfect fit.

And mine was a life in professional kitchens. Truly a land of milk and honey.
“To me, life without veal stock, pork fat, sausage, organ meat, demi-glace, or even stinky cheese is a life not worth living.” – Anthony Bourdain
