This is not the time to indulge – most unfortunate

try and carry on as normally as possible.  You won’t know if something won’t agree with you till you’ve tried it.  Don’t miss out.

on the plane, walk around – A lot.  You will swell up double your normal size, walking may not prevent it, but will make you feel more comfortable.  

Carry a bottle of water and crackers in your bag everywhere you go.
